Yu's 4th Birthday

It was Yu's 4th birthday on 21 Oct. She was dressed in her favourite dark pink dress (which she had reminded Mommy many times to put it on for her on her birthday, even months before Oct). So the birthday child gets to wear her own outfit to the kindy for the day. Special!

Yu put on the red/white striped ankle length socks with 2 heart shapes pattern and tied her shoulder length hair with 2 very cute hair rubber bands which Daddy bought. She was thrilled.

As everyone in Kindy is busy rehearsing for the year end concert, there was not much time for a proper birthday celebration, so Mommy gave Yu packets of sweets to distribute to her classmates instead. (For Grace's birthday in March, it is usually more fun with Mommy as the birthday planner and hostess and there are gift packs for everyone in class)
Yu's birthday cake (at home) is Marble Cheesecake from Secret Recipe. Still so yummy after all these years! Yu loves cheesecake. Had a sumptous dinner at Jumbo Restaurant - the black pepper crabs is tops! Yu prefers Beijing duck and roast chicken skins better! Rest assured these gals don't eat poultry skins everyday. phew!

Yu also spent some time with her paternal and maternal grandparents on her birthday. How blessed.
