26 December 2005. Arrived at the Hong Kong International Airport..........in style. Checked into Hotel at 1300hrs. Hotel is newly renovated; sits on an excellent location; good view of the harbour as well as of the The Peninsula located next door.
Hotel room is a little smaller than expected but this is Hong Kong. Compact it is. 
Wow! i love this hotel.
The Peninsula at Night. Mommy imagined she was in Europe everytime she looked out of the hotel window. The winter weather adds to it. Cool.........literally.
Day 1 : Had Daddy's favourite beefball noodles in a crowded and cramped hawker centre under a road bridge in TST, no sweat (all smiles). Watched Symphony of Lights from our hotel room window. Had a deliciously sumptuous Shanghainese dinner, also at TST. 2 thumbs up!! Had another round of satisfying supper at our favourite Sweet Dynasty, Canton Road. This is Hong Kong.
Day 2 : Spent the day in HK Disneyland. HK1200 Entrance fees. Watched spectacular fireworks in the evening.
Day 3 : Dim sum lunch. Took a double decker to Stanley Market, admired Repulse Bay along the way. Daddy had snake soup in Causeway Bay (never missed this). Seafood dinner.
Day 4 : Dim Sum lunch. Took the ferry from TST to Central pier; then the westward Ding Ding (tram) passed Wheelock House. Walked Hollywood Street. Had Daddy's favourite wanton noodles for dinner, also in Central. Walked the Avenue of Stars and soaked in the cool weather. Munched Calbee potato chips in hotel room.
Day 5 : Dim Sum lunch. Checked out of hotel at 1400hrs. Walked TST. Head for airport at 1700hrs on 30 December 2005.

Your HKG entry brought back memories of my own HKG trip in Dec. I hope you visited the Esprit factory outlet ? ;)
Ene - sad, sad, sob. did not have time to visit Esprit factory outlet. our day starts at 2pm after dim sum lunch and with what you see in my blog, that's about all we did during the 5 days. i vow to go back to HK with my sister during HK summer sale 2006.
