Grace's 7th Birthday

Today is Grace's 7th birthday. Thanks for all your birthday wishes (early and late). Grace designed this cake which has biscuit roses in alternating colours, several balloons (chocolate coated) and a bright cheerful sunflower to complete the look of the year.

See the pink cream decoration at the side, so irresistably beautiful. Mommy's favourite. Chomp! Chomp! Yummy! Yum. Yum.

In the afternoon, Grace and Yu went for maths class as usual at Holland Grove. Mommy dropped by at Holland Village. She bought this cute tiny pair of Mommy+Daddy blue birds in their love nest with 3 eggs, from Lim's. Costs only $3.90! wah!

After Holland Grove, Mommy brought the gals to Parkway Parade Shopping Centre level 2 for Grace to do her sand art as a birthday activity (she did one on her 6th birthday). It is a simple birthday piece from Winnie the Pooh.

See the sand art Little Twin Star which Mommy did 20 years ago at Goldhill Square Shopping Centre (the one with the French store - Galaries Lafayette). ok, for the new kid on the block, it is the now United Square SC. Mommy kept the Sanrio sand art carefully and preciously in a plastic sheet (all these years) and it is still in good condition. wow!

In the evening, we sang birthday song ....la...la...la....May the good Lord bless you....la...la...la....to Grace. Cut the lovely heart-shaped cake and went to Plaza Singapura for our favourite Beijing food.

Grace had a simple and happy birthday. That's how life should be, most of the time.
