Mommy borrowed several books from the school library for the gals recently. Mommy is a volunteer in the school library (once a week). She helps to shelve the books and re-wrapped the older books with Mrs Heng, the friendly full-time school librarian.
The Genius of Leonardo is tells of Leonardo Da Vinci as a painter but also an architect, a scientist, a philosopher, a mathematician, a nature lover and many more. wow! wow! wow!
I'm Like You, You're Like Me is a book which Mommy wanted to show Grace that children enjoy playing together and being with one another. They also accept one another regardless how different they are (looks, race, religion etc).
Mirette On The High Wire is another good book to inspire the girls to dream on and achieve what they aspire to be. Mirette is a young girl who was inspired by the great high wire walker, Bellini. She pracitised on the high wire daily. In the end, it was Mirette's enthusiasm and courage that inspired the retired Bellini to walk on the high wire again, with confidence.
No Ordinary Olive is an enjoyable light-hearted book on Olive who has a passion for life. She thinks and does everything out of the box. Cool!

Such interesting books, make me wanna read too. And the book covers are so "attention-grabbing". I am one of who judge book by its cover at times. ha...
