For the first time, Mommy, Daddy, Grace and Yu sat down to watch the World Cup. It was the quarter-finals - England vs Portugal. As the players marched into the football field, Mommy casually introduced Beckham as the captain of the England team to Grace and Yu. (Mommy has never watched a complete soccer match except for the World Cup 2002 semi-finals where South Korea vs ?).
minutes into the game, 2 young ladies from the room started exchanging :
"Beckham! Beckham!"
"Yah........it's him! it's him!"
"there!.....No.7 is there!"
"so handsome, right? Beckham! Beckham!"
"why is he injured? is it painful?"
"oh no! so bad."
