Expressways

This is an unusual post - it's not about Grace and Yu, it's Expressways. ha.

Yes, we know CTE and PIE have been around for ages, oh well, since Mommy was a kid. ha.

This afternoon, for the first time, Mommy attempted to drive home from Orchard Road by CTE (north bound) and then exit to PIE (east bound). She has never been on that tiny stretch of the expressway with all these years of driving. Try a new route, she thought.

It was a mistake. It was a slow 20mph bumper to bumper traffic from Jalan Bahagia exit to PIE. Once is enough, she thought.

Yes, Mommy will stick to ECP.


For foreign/young readers : CTE is Central Expressway (North-South line). PIE is Pan-Island Expressway (East-West line). ECP is East Coast Parkway (yes, by the coastline).
