Mommy's maternal grandfather was 90 when he passed away this morning. He accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and Saviour a week ago and is with Jesus now. All Heavens rejoice!
Great-grandfather sailed to Singapore when he was 19. Fought the enemies in WW2; raised a closely-knit family of 6 children
with his sweetheart war comrade; built schools for the children in his village in China; wrote a book about his life (for family only) and also contributed many articles to Char Yong Clan Association periodicals.

14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.Mommy says she respects her grandfather because he led a prudent and disciplined life; he was wise and quiet; he taught his children values. He was a gentleman and a faithful husband.
