Marina Barrage - Singapore

The main foyer of the Marina Barrage.
Walk up the ramp to the rooftop garden if you want some exercise and a scenic view (don't panic, lifts are available within the building). Strike a pose once you'd reached the top of the 2-storey building (which feels like 200ft above sea level) From here, you can see the barrage.
On the left is reservoir water; the other is sea water (of course). After a very heavy downpour, the gates at the barrage will be opened to release excessive reservoir water into the sea.
You will notice the Solar Park at one end of the rooftop garden. This is the largest in Singapore and has 405 solar panels covering 1200 sqm which generates 70 kilowatts. The electricity generated is used for indoor lighting and power points such as this and this and and this. (clap! clap! clap!)
