Library Books September

These are some of the favourite library books borrowed this month.

The Railway Children is a heartwarming story about three children and their Mommy waiting for their daddy to return home (from prison) and them helping others and making friends along the way. These are kind-hearted people which the world needs.

Percy, the Park Keeper is our favourite for its easy-to- read text and funny stories and very beautiful drawings (Mommy's favourite too) about a park keeper and his animal friends.

Ella's Trip to the Museum is a little funny and easy story about Ella's wild imagination while visiting the musuem. The paintings and statues came alive to Ella and she had a wonderful time "interacting" with the arts pieces. Mommy loved it.

The Sweetest Fig is a humourous story (suitable for a play, Mommy thinks) about a man who ate a fig and realised his dream came true the next morning. Being greedy, he hypnotise himself to dream he is rich and guess what? his dog ate the last fig when he was not looking and the next day, his dog became him (a human) and he.....turned into a dog (his pet). Ha Ha Ha.
