Hong Kong Ocean Park 2006

Hong Kong Ocean Park is located on two different sides of a mountain and overlooking the sea. We took one of the world's longest escalators to reach the top of the mountain (the other side of Ocean Park). Ocean Park is also served by cable cars across the mountain, yes overlooking the sea! Thrilling! Therapeutic! This is the main attraction of the park. We went on the cable car 3 times over. It's never enough.

Grace and Yu enjoyed their kiddy amusement park rides as well as watched the intelligent Dolphins and Sea Lions performed some water tricks with their trainers. Ocean Park is proud to have a dolphin breeding centre right there. clap. clap.

Look at the adorable Giant Panda (either An An or Jia Jia). She was oblivious of us (hordes of tourists) snapping pictures as she chewed happily on bamboo leaves. Cool attention seeker.

See the jelly fish swim and glow in their natural environment with the latest technology in lighting. Fascinating transparent creatures! There was an Atoll Reef with over 2000 fishes and a shark aquarium with over 35 species of sharks!

Ocean Park has an Aviary under a canopy with over 1200 birds and this guy (on the left) is in charge.
