Garden and Park

The Family has been exploring new park and garden these two weekends having spent the last decade at East Coast Park and Singapore Botanical Gardens.

Visited Toa Payoh Gardens last Sunday. Wow! It must be the smallest garden in Singapore and one of the oldest; walked round the gardens and pond within 15 minutes. Then Grace and Yu decided to do some mini races "to kill time" alongside the pond. The Family then walked to the nearby sports complex to have a peek at the badminton courts and table tennis training sessions. Interesting to find so many sports lovers. Mommy and the gals round it off by circling the track one round.

Visited Bishan Park this evening. Wow! It must be the biggest park in Singapore. There was a Park I and Park II. Not sure which one the Family walked but it was really huge and green! There were several soccer teams in the big field; many joggers and a few cyclists on the jogging path (much to our annoyance); and an enclosed area for dogs to exercise and socialise perhaps. This park is a good alternative to Botanical Gardens.

Mommy and Daddy are planning their jogging route now.
