Children's Day 2007

Today is Children's Day. Today is Sunday, Grace and Yu received goodie bags at Sunday School. Grace was especially pleased to get a cute cube alarm clock. She will place it next to her mattress at night. She feels like a grown up, she is happy.
Grace and Yu are allowed to buy presents on Children's Day (and on special occasions). Yu chose the Disney Princess colouring and drawing book as well as a DIY colour peelable sticker pack (Mommy's recommendation). Grace has been asking for a sling bag since early this year. She wants to look grown-up and "cool" like her friends in school ("no more Hello Kitty haversack for her", sobs Mommy). After much consideration, Mommy agreed on this Strawberry Shortcake sling bag. This is suitable for an 8-year-old.

Last but not least, Mommy gets a present too. Her favourite - mosaic craft. Let's say if she is creative and good in this, she may want to do up some parts of the wall at home.
