After lunch, the Family decided to take a stroll (no need Banana Boat, it was a cool cloudy day) at the newly constructed, newly opened (by PM Lee Hsien Loong in the morning) Henderson Waves. Spanning 274m, this wave-pattern bridge connects Mount Faber Park to Telok Blangah Hill Park. 
You can't feel the "wave-pattern", the floorboard is flat and straight throughout and not "undulating" (hm....how exciting it would be for the kids); you don't even see the wave-pattern while inside the bridge (yes, the pattern is to be admired from outside); rather it feels like being in Noah's Ark with all the wooden deck and planks; or Jonah in the Whale's belly with all the "ribs" showing

Yu will tell you the Henderson Waves is 70m above sea level. It does offer good view of the greenery (at Telok Blangah Hill, what else?). The Family enjoyed the cool fresh breeeze (only on that cool cloudy afternoon).
