Mommy's Birthday 2008

Today is a special day. The family headed down to Tampopo (at Liang Court) for lunch. The black pig ramen is delicious - the soup is thick and tasty; the pork is sweet.
One more bowl please!!

Then the family strolled Kinokuniya Bookstore. Mommy bought a couple of books for Grace and Yu and a Moleskine City Notebook for herself (never mind the city. ha!), all at a discount (great!).

Not enough of Japanese food? want more? So the family had dinner at Waraku at The Central. Mommy had beef and miso soup in paper, over a small fire.

The day ended with a Scoop Cake from Tampopo Deli (Liang Court). This chiffon cake, topped with ever-so-light whipped fresh cream and very fresh fruit is a Japanese-Western party delight. Don't bother to cut the cake, just scoop it up!

Wow! What a Japanese-themed birth-day. We love Mommy!


She is forever 25!
