Grace visited the dentist yesterday afternoon cos she was having a bad toothache over the weekend. (If you are wondering, yes, she brushes her teeth daily) As the dentist had just returned from a vacation, his appointments were full to the brim. Thank God, managed to squeeze ourselves into his schedule.
Mommy decided to take a bus with Grace. Oh well, Grace was very excited.
She did not complain even though she had to walk this far (see photo) to the bus stop. Of course, Mommy put on the right shoes for the trip. A must! Grace was fearful while seated on the dentist chair (which child doesn't, right?), Mommy kept reassuring her the dentist is skillful (which means it will be over quickly) while holding her down. Told Grace to think about her favourite things - stickers!
Well, her face lighted up and requested for Snow White stickers after the ordeal. Sure, no problem, just sit down tight! Grace had her bad tooth mended in about 15 mins.
Mommy and Grace searched for Snow White stickers for about another 15 mins but to no avail. Finally Grace settled on The Incredible stickers. Then it was time to head home. The journey home was pleasant cos there were ample seats available on the bus and there was no traffic jam even at 5pm. ha ha
It was Grace's first ride on a double decker here. She enjoyed thoroughly. She told her grandfather and younger sister about it when she got home.

the bus trip with Grace brought back memories of childhood bus rides with my siblings and Mom. cherished memories.
